On holiday journeys, especially in Spain, you may come across an offer to learn more about holiday timeshare sites or to conclude various long-term holiday accommodation agreements where, for example, you will be travelling to and accommodating at a specific destination once a year.

The European Consumer Centre annually receives contacts from Finnish consumers telling about various problems related to timeshares and other holiday products. Typically, the complaints concern either the fact that, despite the seller’s promises, the agreement does not involve the promised right of withdrawal, or when the consumer books accommodation, there are no free places at the desired times, or the seller no longer responds to the contacts.
